Remodeling

We take particular pride in the fact that most of our clients become friends and long term users of our services. Our relationships often start with a small need and grow over years into complete transformations of homes.

Here is an example of how our relationships with our clients grow and how one of our remodeling projects progressed. This is a recent kitchen remodel which grew from a small cabinet project. We began with a request for a cabinet to store footwear in the main entrance of this home. This cabinet was the result.

Our clients began discussing problems with the functioning of their kitchen - with the main issue being it's separation from the lovely rear garden. There was an existing porch and tiny entry room between the kitchen and the garden. Which offered some storage and outside sitting space but mostly created a clumsy divide between the kitchen and garden.

In the end we removed the porch and framed in a glass wall with sliders leading directly to the garden for al fresco dining.

The completed kitchen included a sunken dining area just inside the glass so diners could experience the garden even in cold weather.
